Autumn in Trondheim

Last year the first heavy snow was early enough to disrupt the fall foliage. This year we were able to enjoy some pretty leaves! It made for some beautiful walks to the store along the bike path near our house.

The bike path along the cemetery in early October.

Beautiful red and gold leaves.

Half green, half colorful!

Since I am teaching some primary school classes this year, I got to experience the Halloween celebrations at school from the point of view of a nine year old. So many cute costumes and excited kids. I even got a hand made Halloween card!

At home we had a grand total of 8 trick-or-treaters this year, including one terrified little girl and our friends Anne Lise and Håvard. We had plenty of Nidar candy for them all (of course we ate our fair share of it too).

I went old school with the jack-o-lantern this year.
